 How to level a land using Dumpy Level | Civil Engineering land levelling . 

This is a very useful video for you. I am a civil engineer worked in a construction company. Many trainee engineers don't know how to level using Dumpy level. So i took my phone and recorded the procedure of Dumpy level settings and the procedure of measuring. Both recording and levelling are done myself, so there is a shaking problem, forgive for this . But i bet this is very helpful for every civil engineering students and civil engineering employees.

       

A dumpy level, builder's auto level, leveling instrument, or automatic level is an optical instrument used to establish or verify points in the same horizontal plane. It is used in surveying and building with a vertical staff to measure height differences and to transfer, measure and set heights. 

    There is a bench mark for the levelling usually taken as zero or 100. It is better to watch this video, i have detailed explaining about the principles of Dumpy level and how to use the Dumpy level. Watch carefully and please share to your friends.
